Kota Kinabalu: The chances of the Sabah Wildlife Department winning a wildlife crime case in court is extremely high, claims Wildlife Officer Siti Nurain Ampuan Acheh.
However, she said this would not stop or slow down wildlife crimes in Sabah, but change the modus operandi of the perpetrators.
“The percentage of the Department winning in court is more than 90 per cent all the time,” she claimed at the Turtle Islands Heritage Protected Area (TIHPA) Conference 2023, here, recently.
