In the run up to GE15, PKR and DAP were very vocal on their attacks against a former Minister of Defence over a tender to build and supply Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) for the Royal Malaysian Navy.

If you recall, Rafizi was most vociferous, followed by people like DAP's senior adviser LKS himself who was pushing for MACC to investigate the possible involvement of the President of UMNO in the award of the tender for Littoral Combat Ships (LCS).

Lately, Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK) in his latest video says that based on reports lodged earlier, MACC has conducted and completed its investigation.

In fact, they have submitted their report along with a charge sheet on the alleged bribery of "millions paid in Singapore dollars".

Now that the President of UMNO is the Deputy Prime Minister and the organisation that he represents is a partner of the ruling party, is it possible that the case might be shelved or forever buried?

Raja Petra Kamaruddin has a valid point when he said that where the attacks were once fierce before the election, there is only silence now over the LCS affair. Not a single word is heard from Rafizi or Lim Kit Siang anymore over this case. Can anybody enlighten us why?

Wouldn't it be in the best interest of the nation for the culprit or others involved to be brought to justice?

Or shouldn't the individuals concerned be charged in court now that the charge sheets are ready and on the AG's table as alleged by RPK?

Isn't this what PKR and DAP were harping about before the election?

After all PH's platform is about fighting to eradicate corruption.

Handling a current corruption case where evidence is overwhelming, would be a better starting point to showcase PH's fight against the menace rather than going on a wild goose chase after cases where the facts are still doubtful.

The rakyat is watching to see whether promises made by PKR and DAP in their manifesto will be fulfilled.

Would the new government headed by PH go for justice as promised, or would it end up being perceived by the rakyat as being no better than most political parties that tend to ignore promises made once election is over?
