To attend the party meeting on Thursday, some members of the UMNO Supreme Working Council (MKT) began trickle-in at Menara Dato' Onn, World Trade Center (WTC) here around 8:30 p.m.
According to mykmu, UMNO Vice President Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Melaka State UMNO Relations Chairman Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, and Terengganu State UMNO Chairman Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Said was among those present.
Datuk Khaidirah Abu Zahar, the head of Puteri UMNO Jasin Division, was also present.
Meanwhile, media personnel were surprised by the appearance of the former Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who arrived earlier accompanied by a female escort.
However, the purpose of her presence is not confirmed but it is believed to be to meet with Ahmad Zahid before chairing the meeting.
Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor who is also the wife of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak was seen attending the UMNO Supreme Working Council (MKT) meeting tonight.
She arrived at Menara Dato Onn grounds accompanied by a woman believed to be her escort officer.
Her presence raised various questions among the media who gathered in the building's grounds since 7pm.
However, the media's efforts to try to interview Rosmah failed and were prevented by her escort officers while not allowing her photos to be taken.
