William travelled to three England games during their journey to the final of Euro 2024, in which he watched on from the sidelines with Prince George.
However, he has not attended a World Cup fixture since South Africa in 2010, in which he attended alongside his brother, Prince Harry.

In the weeks leading up to the tournament, he made a surprise visit to St George's Park to meet members of England's backroom staff and wish the team well before they departed for North America.
While best known as a devoted supporter of Aston Villa, William has frequently attended England matches and major international tournaments in both his royal and FA roles.
Recently, William travelled to Istanbul as he watched his beloved Villa beat German side SC Freiburg 3-0 to clinch their first European silverware since 1982.
The Prince of Wales could be seen characteristically struggling to contain his delight, as he screamed with emotion and thrust his arms into the air, before belting out a celebratory Sweet Caroline with thousands of Villa supporters.
