Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson says the players are happy with their winter break.
Wilson insists he and his teammates need time away from eachother.
"The boys need some time to be away from the training ground and away from each other, so the manager has given us a little bit of time off to recharge," Wilson told The Footballer's Football Podcast.
"The boys will still be ticking over - you can't just fully shut down and switch off.
"Then we're back to it again because we've got some big games coming up and we have to prepare properly."
