Wolves caretaker boss Steve Davis says he hasn't been told anything about their search for a new manager.

Davis will be in charge for the clash with Nottingham Forest.

He said, "Honestly, I don't know about that. Apart from what's in the papers. All I've been doing is focusing on points and a good performance tomorrow. That's my remit and the direction we're taking at the moment.

"It's been easy for us as coaches. Myself and James [Collins] got on with what we need to do. We are experienced coaches. Things have to be right - organised and professional.

"It's how we've conducted ourselves over the last two weeks. I've not really looked at what's away from the club. Inside it is still a good, positive feeling about everybody.

"Spirits are high considering our position. That's important. We need to keep that flourishing and we'll keep trying to do that."
