Wolves defender Caden Voice has signed a professional contract for the first time.

The 17-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal that sees him rise up from scholarship status.

Voice has been with Wolves in some capacity since he was five years old, with the club having huge belief in his potential.

I'm delighted to be in a position to give Caden his first professional contract with Wolves," academy manager for football, Jon Hunter-Barrett said.

He's a Wolves supporter, has been at the academy since the age of five and has worked very hard to be given this contract and have this opportunity with the football club.

He's had quite a long journey right the way through the programme and has been with the football club for 11 years if you include his time between five and seven in the pre-academy. He has shown great commitment to the club throughout that period of time.

Caden has been able to represent the under-18s as a 15-year-old and has also, at times, gone on to wear the armband for the 18s. He's represented the under-21s already this season, so Caden's had quite a good journey throughout the program."
