Max Kilman urged calm after Wolves lost at Chelsea.

Wolves were defeated in a week when manager Bruno Lage was sacked.

Defender Kilman said: “It was tough to take. Obviously losing the manager and then working with our new coaches this week has been tough, but we played some good football and there were times when we could threaten them, but we didn't, so, unfortunately, we came away with the defeat today.

“Of course, it's tough because this is our third loss in a row. We know it's been tough, but we know we need to bounce back into the next game and then keep on going and I'm sure we will be alright.

“I felt that if we could have come into half-time at 0-0 then I think we could have really pushed on in the second half, but, unfortunately, we conceded late and it was hard to push on from there."

He added: “Now we need to keep positive, keep working hard and get back on the training pitch, keep going and I'm sure our time will come and we'll start winning games. We need to look to the next game and do our best.

“You've got to stay positive. We've got a top team, top players, and results haven't gone our way, we've lost three games in a row now, but you've got to look forward and be confident that we can turn it around."
