Wolves defender Toti spoke about how proud he felt for earning a Portugal call-up.
The centre half has not always had an easy time at the Premier League club.
Out of favor at stages of this season, Toti has enjoyed an outstanding end to the campaign, as his side avoided relegation.
On a call-up to the Italy squad in June, Toti told club media: It's a dream come true, and we will see what happens if I can play.
It's always good to have news like this, it's things like this that we've been working hard for. It will be good, and I'll keep working hard.
It's all happened quickly but with the hard work I've put in on the training ground and on the pitch, from the first day until the end, I hoped this would happen."
