Wolves are showing some interest in signing Metz midfielder Boubacar Traore.
The midfield positions are a worry for manager Bruno Lage in the new season, per talkSPORT.
Wolves lost out on Joao Palhinha to Premier League rivals Fulham earlier this transfer window.
Now they are after 20-year-old Traore, who played 28 times for Metz last term.
The only permanent transfers for Wolves this summer are Goncalo Guedes, Nathan Collins and Hwang Hee-Chan.
They lost their opening Premier League game of the season 2-1 to Leeds United.
