Wolves have opened talks with Max Kilman regarding the signing of a new contract.
The centre back is in demand this summer, with Italian champions Napoli very keen on his signature.
However, Express and Star claims that Wolves will try to hold onto their key defender with a new deal.
Manager Julen Lopetegui does not want to lose Kilman, given the club have already sold Nathan Collins.
Having sold Ruben Neves for a club-record 47 million and Collins for 23 million, the club's Financial Fair Play concerns are eased.
They will make signings, while there are fringe first team players that can be sold to raise more funds.
