Wolves are considering making a move for a new head coach before 2023.

The Premier League club are not rushing to secure and hire the replacement for sacked manager Bruno Lage.

Wolves believe finding the right coach is more important than stumbling into a quick appointment.

Steve Davis is still in interim charge of the club, with the Express and Star suggesting that may continue for the time being.

Several candidates have been interviewed, but none who wanted the job have made enough of a mark to secure the position.

Julen Lopetegui and Michael Beale were ideal candidates for Wolves, but both managers rejected the club.
