TAMPARULI: A 72-year-old woman suffered burns on her hands and feet in a fire at an oil storage room, here, Sunday.
The 3.34pm incident occurred at Kampung Kionsom, Jalan Topon Wangkod.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department, the store where petrol was kept was 10 per cent damaged.
“Fire was put out before the team arrived and the injured victim was given early treatment at the scene before being brought to hospital for further treatment.
“The operation ended at 4.20pm,” said a spokesman.
