PETALING JAYA: A woman allegedly kicked an auxiliary police officer in the groin after becoming aggressive when he asked her to move her vehicle at a shopping mall near Damansara yesterday.

The incident occurred at about 8.38 am when the 30-year-old officer was on static duty and noticed a Hyundai Inokom parked against the flow of traffic and honking at other vehicles for no apparent reason.

Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Hoo Chang Hook said the officer approached the woman, who was behind the wheel, to advise her about the traffic violation and ask her to move the car.

However, the woman allegedly responded by raising her middle finger while brushing her teeth before getting out of the vehicle and attempting to attack the officer.

“She then kicked the officer in the groin,” Hoo told Harian Metro today.

He said the officer called for assistance from his colleagues while attempting to restrain the woman, but she managed to escape.

Police are continuing their efforts to locate the suspect.

The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955.
