- The Metropolitan Police have taken over the investigation, establishing a crime scene at a house in Sutton Dene, east Hounslow.
- Detectives are appealing for public assistance, particularly for information or footage of the van (BF18 VNV) travelling to Leicester before Wednesday, 27 May.
