
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have booked a woman under the Public Safety Act (PSA), who was involved in “multiple cases linked to unlawful and anti-national activities”, the police said on Saturday.
The police stated that in order to uphold public order and security, the Baramulla police executed a detention warrant on May 30 under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA) against Haseena Begum, a resident of Sheeri Baramulla. The police claimed that she was involved in “multiple cases linked to unlawful and anti-national activities”. The detention was carried out following an order issued by the District Magistrate, Baramulla, based on her involvement in several criminal cases.
