
Kota Kinabalu: A 62-year-old woman was found dead in a car near Dewan Hakka in Jalan Signal Hill, here, Friday night.
Members of the public alerted the authorities after they found the victim unconscious while the car engine was still running.
Kota Kinabalu Police Chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said they received a call at 8.25pm about a suspicious maroon Proton Saga parked in the area.
He said the car engine was running and the lights were on.

Read more “At 8.31pm, police arrived at the scene and an ambulance from Queen Elizabeth Hospital (HQE) was also present. The doctor confirmed that the victim was dead.
“Investigations at the site revealed no evidence of criminal activity that could have contributed to the victim’s death,” he said when contacted, Saturday.
The case is classified as a sudden death report (SDR).
“The Sabah State Police Contingent Headquarters Forensic Unit was also present at the scene,” said Mohd Zaidi.
