KENINGAU: An elderly woman was killed and two others, including a boy, were injured when the Toyota Hilux they were travelling in skidded in Kampung Delayan Sook, here, in Thursday.

Sook Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 3.25pm and a total of seven members led by Operations Officer, Shahril Sulaiman rushed to the location with machinery.

According to the report of the Chief of Operations, there were three victims involved. I two victims, 35-year-old woman and an eight-year-old boy who suffered minor injuries were taken to the Sook Health Clinic by ambulance for further treatment.

The elderly woman was confirmed dead at the scene by the medical team and the victim’s body was handed over to the police for further action.

Inspections in the area were carried out by firefighters to ensure there were no other hazards and the operation ended at 4.24pm.
