A hilarious video has been circulating on social media recently, showing a woman mistakenly getting on a stranger’s motorcycle instead of her boyfriend’s at a fuel station.
The video, which is believed to have taken place in Indonesia based on the fuel station the incident was recorded at, has been reposted by many public social media pages, including this post by @medialahmy on Instagram.
Too focused on her smartphone
At the start of the video, a couple can be seen queuing up to fill their motorcycle with petrol at the station.
The woman can then be seen disembarking from the motorbike and then waiting for her boyfriend to finish fuelling up at the right of the fuel pump.
Throughout this time, the woman was fully focused on her smartphone and when the motorcycle in front of the queue just finished fuelling up and was about to leave, the woman suddenly went to this stranger’s motorbike and sat at the back.
The walk of shame
Seemingly oblivious that the motorcyclist was a stranger, the woman cosied up at the back of the seat before her boyfriend approached her and tapped on her back.
She then realised that she had made a mistake and immediately disembarked from the motorcycle and embarrassingly walked towards her boyfriend.

What if the stranger brought her home?
In the comments, many Malaysians were amused by the video and also shared their experience of getting in the wrong vehicle before.
One commenter said that the woman was lucky that the stranger didn’t just start his motorbike and leave.
Meanwhile, another commenter said that this incident reminded hm of how he got on the wrong motorbike when he was a kid instead of getting on his father’s motorcycle.
However, one commenter questioned the authenticity of the video, as it looked staged. More so, given how the camera was seemingly recording for no reason at the start.
