AI's presence has been increasing in our daily lives, due to the convenience it offers, allowing us to use lesser brain juices, offer instant answers or guidance and to certain extent even provides emotional support just like a friend. AI can do basically everything, including creating an image from nowhere, providing health advice, planning your trip & etc. While its convenience is undeniable, this growing reliance also raises concerns especially when people begin to let AI influence their personal decisions including relationship or even marriage.

According to an anonymous submission to Xuan, a Malaysian Chinese language radio station operated by Astro Radio, a man shared his worst experience of AI reliance, of which his marriage was easily ended just because AI said so. This sad man shared that his marriage has been on shaky ground, of which he and his wife have been separated for three months.

He's just got to know lately that his wife consulted ChatGPT for bazi advice, wanting to know what the future held for their marriage. Unfortunately, instead of pleasing them, AI's response was: "The next few years will be a period of testing in your marriage. Many challenges will surface, and stability may only come after six years."

And just because of this response, the poor guy's wife immediately felt that they weren't compatible and wanted a divorce, neither with serious discussion nor with attempt to work through things together. “She simply trusted what an AI had said based on her birth data”, he said.“Honestly, I’m confused and heartbroken. I keep asking myself: Can the future of a relationship really be determined by a computer-generated analysis? Shouldn't the true measure of a marriage be built on the experiences, love, and struggles we share every day?

Personally, I believe Bazi and AI does play a role in offering certain insights or reflections, but when did we start handing over life decisions to a machine? Can AI and astrology truly define our relationships or are we giving them too much power? Comment below to share what you think, hopefully we're able to help this poor and sad guy save his marriage.
