MANILA, Philippines — A woman's body was found inside a refrigerator in an apartment in Rodriguez, Rizal on Wednesday.
Police said the body was found after the landlord went to the unit on Sept. 10 to request the tenant to sign a lease contract, but no one came out.
A few days later, a foul odor from the unit prompted the landlord to call the police.
Responding officers said they found the occupant's corpse inside the refrigerator.
The Rodriguez Rizal Police said the investigation into the case is ongoing.
The unidentified cadaver was described as about 25 to 30 years old, with a height of 5’2 to 5’3, fair complexion, and a slim built.
