Police are investigating after sanitation workers discovered a woman’s dismembered body parts at a rubbish disposal site in Kota Kinabalu.

KOTA KINABALU: Police have launched an investigation after sanitation workers discovered dismembered body parts believed to be from a woman at a rubbish disposal site here this morning.

Acting Kota Kinabalu district police chief Supt Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman confirmed the discovery in Indah Permai. The grim find was made by workers collecting rubbish at around 7 am.

The incident has since gone viral on social media platforms. Syed Lot urged the public not to speculate on the case while investigations are ongoing.

He stated that further investigations are currently underway. Authorities are working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the discovery.
