
RANAU: A 47-year-old woman suffered burns on her face and hands after her home caught fire and was destroyed in flame in Kampung Langkau, here on the wee hour of Saturday morning.
District Fire Station chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said the emergency call was received at 4.21am, and a team of firemen rushed to the location.
"Arriving at the scene, 25 kilometres from the station, we found that a fire involving a two-story semi-permanent house was 80 per cent burnt," he said.
