According to a post on X, the anonymous woman’s husband had suprised her with a walnut cake on her birthday, despite knowing that she’s severely allergic to walnuts.
Apparently, she had no clue of the cake’s flavour until she took one bite of it, before experiencing a reaction merely minutes later.

The incident clearly didn’t rattle her husband, as he nonchalantly claimed that her allergy “comes and goes”, which triggered backlash from netizens who labelled his cold demeanor as “ignorant” and “attempted murder”.
She then revealed that they are now going through a divorce, and advised other couples out there to avoid this red flag behaviour.
