In a suspected case of suicide, a woman and her two minor daughters were found dead in a pond in the Govindgarh area near Jaipur on Tuesday, police said.
Govindgarh SHO Vinod Sankhla said that Pooja (25), who got married six years ago, left her home early Tuesday morning and allegedly jumped into the pond located nearly 2 km from her house with her two daughters.
“The bodies have been shifted to the mortuary of a nearby hospital for postmortem," the SHO said.
Police have launched a probe to ascertain the circumstances leading to the deaths, the officer said.
