Kota Kinabalu: Export volumes of Sabah products can be expected to increase exponentially as more women entrepreneurs in manufacturing products for export, like cosmetics, health products, food and beverages, etc. are successful in their business endeavours.
According to Suria Capital Holdings Bhd’s group MD, Datuk Ng Kiat Min, 70 per cent of the outbound containers leaving Sabah ports are empty.
“Of the container throughput handled by Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd, for outbound containers, the ratio for laden boxes versus empty boxes is 30:70.
