PENAMPANG: District police are urging witnesses to a fight involving three women – or those implicated in the video that went viral – to come forward to help in the investigations.

The assault is believed to have happened at Megalong on Thursday. Another woman wearing white is seen to have joined later.

The two-minute video that went viral the same day shows the victim being slapped before being pulled to the ground by her hair where the beating continued with kicks to the face and body.

Based on the video recording, two of the women acted violently after claiming the victim had badmouthed them.

“Therefore, the police are asking witnesses at the scene or individuals involved to come forward and make a report to enable an investigation to be carried out.
