Kota Kinabalu: Malaysian women are a force to be reckoned with, substantially contributing to the country’s economic growth, increasingly working in roles that were formerly a preserve of men such as excelling as mechanical engineers, pilots, architects, etc.
Women dominate Malaysia’s public university admission as high as 70 per cent in some universities’ undergraduate admission ratio as compared to some 30 per cent for men, and in the civil service, women are the dominant workforce in the public sector.
