The month of Ramadan which will end this weekend, is the most special time of the year for all Muslims, and breaking of fast (Iftar) is the most important part of it. It is the time when fasting ends for the day, bringing a moment of peace & gratitude. This is a blessed time when prayers are answered, and hearts are filled with gratefulness. Sharing Iftar with family & workmates makes the moment even more happier.

My wife, Zarina and I were invited by our eldest son, Farouq & wife, Nadja and their son, Daniel to break fast together with staff of Stealth Studio and their families at Dewan Nafoura Shaftbury Putrajaya. It is a cosy indoor glasshouse event space with cool outdoor waterfountain serving varieties of traditional Malay spreads. We got into the festivies mood of Hari Raya Aidilfitri with the melodies of evergreen music performed live by the young Plus Minus buskers.

I am simply amazed with Stealth Studio's family-friendly policy practised by the CEO Farouq and staffers of this dynamic cutting-edge three-dimensional (3D) company for property developers. As an HRD practitioner, I believe strongly, there's a “really strong business case” for family-focused offerings. I often see that if a person is well supported through their journey to becoming a parent, they're more likely to stay loyally with the organisation. It also, makes an employer more attractive to a more diverse talent pool, highlighting an increase in terms of greater coaching, mentoring, etc.

Owner/CEO Farouq, said “That supportive employers generally have professionals with better wellbeing - there are more satisfied, as well as more loyal, committed and motivated, and therefore businesses that are supportive and will also have higher retention rates and lower turnover and will be more productive. I know that these employers will have positive performance outcomes, and higher profit in this area.”

I agree with Farouq if people feel settled and supported, their motivation & productivity will be positively impacted for the business growth.
