The Arsenal goalkeeper is on-loan at the FC Hollywood to the end of the season.
And with his Gunners deal to expire in June, Wrexham are working on convincing Okonkwo to stay long-term.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is eager to hold onto the keeper, having been impressed by the youngster.
