Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Special Tasks Minister, Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif said local writers need to work hard and make elements of Sabah’s culture, ethnicity and nature as inspiration in their literary writing.
“We in Sabah are rich in cultural, ethnic and natural resources that can be used as focal points in literary works.
“This is our wealth and uniqueness and I am confident that this effort can bring the name of Sabah and the work of local writers to be on par with writers from other states and internationally.”
