Through this collaboration, both parties will explore new cooperation models to promote cross-border business opportunities and attract greater investment into both countries. The agreement also aims to position WTCKL and WTC Sarajevo as key gateways to the broader Balkan region and Southeast Asia respectively, leveraging their unique geographical and economic strengths.

“WTC Kuala Lumpur and WTC Sarajevo will strive for the best outcomes and deeper integration between regional trade networks. This MoU also marks the beginning of a strong and mutually beneficial partnership, fostering innovation and growth for both WTCs,” said Irmohizam, in a statement.

The partnership will also support the growing business events sector by promoting both venues as preferred destinations for international conferences and exhibitions.

In addition, both centres are committed to promoting lifelong learning and talent development, building on the longstanding cultural and educational ties between Malaysia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The agreement is expected to pave the way for enhanced knowledge exchange and collaboration, fostering a more dynamic business ecosystem between the two regions. - April 24, 2025
