Bayern Munich have made an opening offer for Espanyol youngster Marc Roca.
Catalunya Radio says Bayern have bid 18m for Roca in recent days.
However, Espanyol have turned down the offer and referred Bayern to his 40m buyout clause.
Midfielder Roca, 22, is staying on the margins, having just returned to preseason training yesterday.
Espanyol are under no pressure to sell after Mario Hermoso's departure for Atletico Madrid.
