
- Former X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington, 29, has denied murdering social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska, who was also known as Klaudiaglam, by allegedly running her over with a car outside the Inca nightclub in Soho.
- The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 am on Sunday, 19 April, when Carrington's car allegedly surged forward, striking Zakrzewska, who later died from her injuries on 25 April.
- Carrington, who appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink, pleaded not guilty to murder and a second charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to security guard Anoush Chyche, who also sustained “life-changing injuries”.
- The defendant, who has over 365,000 Instagram followers, represented herself during the plea hearing, stating she did not want to represent herself “for the foreseeable” but was happy to enter a plea.
- Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC set the trial to commence at the Old Bailey on 5 January, with further pre-trial hearings scheduled for 11 August and 9 October, and remanded Carrington into custody.
