Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was sorry to hear of Unai Emery's sacking at Arsenal.
Emery was dismissed by the Gunners after a run of indifferent results, with Thursday night's 2-1 loss at home to Eintracht Frankfurt the final straw for the board.
Asked about Emery's Arsenal exit in a press conference on Friday, Zidane said: "I'm very sorry.
"I don't like it when a coach is dismissed.
He added: "I don't know if he will return to Spain, but I'm sure he will be coaching again soon."
