Former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is in talks with Atalanta.
ANSA says Skrtel is set to join Atalanta after successful talks between his agent Karol Csonto and club officials yesterday.
A deal is expected by the weekend.
Skrtel, 34, is a free agent after leaving Turkish side Fenerbahce, where he spent the past three seasons.
The former Slovakia captain is best known for his spell at Liverpool, making over 300 appearances for the Reds between 2008 and 2016.
