Xiaomi has officially introduced a major expansion of its smart ecosystem products in Malaysia, unveiling a wide range of new Smart Tech Appliances and REDMI smart devices under its growing “Human × Car × Home” strategy. The latest launch includes the Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir series, Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L, Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer series, Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Series, alongside new REDMI audio products and wearables including the REDMI Headphones Neo, REDMI Watch 6 and REDMI Buds 8.
All of the newly announced products integrate into Xiaomi’s ecosystem through the Xiaomi Home app, enabling users to remotely monitor devices, customise settings, receive notifications and access OTA software updates from anywhere. Selected products additionally support Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for smarter voice control experiences.
Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir
The new Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir is available in both 1.0HP and 1.5HP variants, focusing on softer airflow and enhanced comfort. Xiaomi says the air conditioner uses a specially designed soft air vane system that disperses strong airflow into a gentler breeze, helping reduce the discomfort caused by direct cold drafts.
To adapt to different environments, the air conditioner includes multiple airflow modes such as Halo Flow, Canopy Flow and Carpet Flow. These modes optimise airflow direction depending on user preference, whether it is surrounding airflow circulation, wider overhead cooling or floor-level warm air distribution.
The system also supports 30-second fast cooling and 60-second rapid heating, while Turbo Mode instantly maximises cooling or heating performance. Xiaomi says the integrated Mijia AI Energy Saving mode can improve efficiency by dynamically adjusting operating frequency according to environmental conditions.
Through the Xiaomi Home app, users can remotely adjust temperatures, fan speeds and operating modes while the AI system gradually learns user preferences to optimise comfort automatically.
Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L
Xiaomi also introduced the Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L, designed for larger households requiring generous storage capacity. The refrigerator offers a total net capacity of 635 litres, consisting of 394 litres for refrigeration and 241 litres for freezing storage.
The refrigerator incorporates four storage layers and 18 compartments to improve organisation and accessibility. Xiaomi says the appliance combines sleek modern aesthetics with practical everyday functionality.
Powered by dual inverter technology, the refrigerator is designed to deliver energy-efficient cooling performance while maintaining stable temperatures throughout the unit. Ag⁺ Fresh technology additionally helps reduce odours and bacteria such as E. coli for improved food freshness.
The refrigerator also supports frost-free air cooling technology to eliminate manual defrosting while ensuring even cooling distribution. Users can remotely control temperature settings and operating modes through the Xiaomi Home app or the external LED touch interface.
Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg
For laundry solutions, Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg together with a washer-only 9kg model. The washer dryer combines both washing and drying functions within a single appliance and features a spacious 525mm drum designed for larger laundry loads.
The appliance includes a dedicated hygiene mode combining high-temperature steam and hot water to eliminate bacteria and dust mites. Xiaomi also integrates more than 30 wash programs, including a 15-minute quick wash mode for everyday convenience.
Smart drying technology uses precision sensors alongside 3D airflow to automatically stop drying once clothes reach optimal conditions, helping prevent overheating while preserving fabric quality.
Users can remotely monitor and customise laundry cycles through the Xiaomi Home app, while OTA updates allow Xiaomi to continuously improve wash programs and add new features over time.
Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Series
Completing the smart appliance lineup is the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Series, consisting of both the standard H50 and the flagship H50 Pro models.
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 delivers 10,000Pa suction power together with dual anti-tangle brushes and high-speed rotary mops spinning up to 180rpm for removing stubborn stains. Advanced LDS laser navigation enables full-home mapping and intelligent route planning for more efficient cleaning.
The vacuum additionally supports carpet detection, automatically lifting mop pads to prevent wetting carpets during cleaning sessions. Xiaomi also includes a self-cleaning base station capable of automatic dust collection and mop washing to minimise manual maintenance.
For users seeking stronger cleaning performance, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro upgrades suction power to 15,000Pa while introducing dual robotic arms designed to improve cleaning coverage around edges and corners.
The H50 Pro further adds advanced obstacle avoidance capabilities, intelligent navigation and a fully automated docking station supporting self-cleaning functions, automatic dust collection and hot-air drying for mop pads.
Both models support Xiaomi Home app integration alongside Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa compatibility for smarter remote control experiences.
REDMI Headphones Neo
Xiaomi also marked a major milestone with the introduction of the REDMI Headphones Neo, becoming the first pair of headphones officially launched under the REDMI lineup in Malaysia.
The REDMI Headphones Neo features 42dB Active Noise Cancellation that automatically adjusts noise reduction depth according to surrounding environmental conditions. Xiaomi says the system is designed to deliver uninterrupted listening experiences across multiple scenarios, while the triple-microphone AI call noise reduction setup improves voice clarity during calls even in noisy environments.
At the core of the headphones is a 40mm ultra-large composite titanium diaphragm engineered to deliver stronger bass performance and balanced sound reproduction. The headphones also support Hi-Res Audio certification and USB audio transmission for higher-quality sound playback.
The REDMI Headphones Neo is available in Obsidian Black and Sand White colour options, featuring a metallic spray finish paired with soft protein leather ear cushions for improved comfort during long listening sessions.
Battery life is another major highlight, with Xiaomi claiming up to 72 hours of usage on a single charge. Additional features include seamless two-device switching, Google Fast Pair support and an adjustable headband for personalised comfort.
REDMI Watch 6
The REDMI Watch 6 arrives with a large 2.07-inch AMOLED display featuring an 82% screen-to-body ratio and peak brightness reaching 2000 nits for improved outdoor visibility.
The smartwatch also introduces upgraded colour Always-On Display technology while retaining a slim 9.9mm aluminium alloy frame designed for both durability and style.
Powered by a 550mAh battery, Xiaomi says the REDMI Watch 6 can deliver up to 24 days of battery life. Health and fitness tracking capabilities have also been upgraded with improved heart rate monitoring accuracy, underwater heart rate detection for swimmers and dual L1 antennas for more precise positioning.
Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, the smartwatch additionally includes a dual-button design for easier navigation and improved overall user experience.
REDMI Buds 8
Rounding out the launch is the new REDMI Buds 8, featuring 50dB Active Noise Cancellation with support for noise reduction across frequencies up to 4kHz.
The earbuds utilise a triple-microphone setup combined with AI-powered call noise reduction to improve voice clarity during calls even under windy conditions. Xiaomi also equips the earbuds with an 11mm dynamic driver designed to deliver balanced sound reproduction with stronger mids and bass performance.
Users can customise sound output through five EQ presets while support for 360-degree spatial audio enhances immersion during music playback and entertainment.
Battery life reaches up to 44 hours with the charging case, while fast charging allows up to four hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge.
Malaysia Pricing and Availability
The latest Xiaomi Smart Tech Appliances, REDMI Watch 6, REDMI Headphones Neo and REDMI Buds 8 will be available through Xiaomi stores nationwide, Xiaomi’s official website, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
The REDMI Watch 6 is priced at RM469, with a promotional launch price of RM369. Meanwhile, the REDMI Headphones Neo retails at RM399 but will be available at a promotional price of RM239 during the launch campaign.
The REDMI Buds 8, which will officially be available from 5 June onwards, carries a retail price of RM289 and promotional pricing of RM249.
For Xiaomi’s smart appliance lineup, the Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir 1.0HP launches at a promotional price of RM1,599, while the 1.5HP model is priced at RM1,799 during the campaign period.
The Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L will be available at a promotional price of RM2,799, while the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg and Mijia Front Load Washer 9kg launch at RM1,199 and RM999 respectively.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 and H50 Pro will retail at promotional prices of RM1,299 and RM1,999 respectively.
