Xiaomi officially announced the 2026 running of its annual Xiaomi Fan Festival (XFF), held on April 6 to mark the company’s anniversary, with activities running from late March through April across global markets. XFF started in Xiaomi’s home turf, China, back in 2012, and has since expanded to 50 countries and regions around the world.

The festival includes a range of online and offline promotions and user engagement campaigns, aligned with the company’s “Human × Car × Home” strategy and this year’s theme, “Smart Living, Made Yours,” which focuses on connected device ecosystems and everyday usability.
Back in March 2025, Xiaomi debuted its Mijia appliances here in Malaysia with the introduction of Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco, Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 510L, Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg, as well as the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco launched just recently. The company also commenced operation on its latest smart home appliances factory in Wuhan since October that same year, with its market presence now reaching four major regions and 14 markets worldwide.
As part of the festival, Xiaomi is offering promotional pricing, discounts, and vouchers across its official website, e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, and physical retail stores. The event also includes digital campaigns encouraging user participation, including the #SmartLivingMadeYours campaign, which invites users to share ideas and experiences related to smart living.
In Malaysia, an additional campaign titled #YourSmartLivingOnUs runs from April 1 to April 10, where participants can share their shopping carts and write their ‘Smart Living Wish Stories’ on TikTok, Facebook, or Xiaohongshu (RedNote) for a chance to win prizes, including a grand prize of RM18,888 covering the winner’s shopping cart (other 10 winners can get RM1,688 off of their shopping carts as well).
