Xiaomi announced the availability of the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco Inverter in Malaysia, slotting below the prior Pro Eco model as a cheaper alternative; the new lineup will feature two variants in 1.0HP and 1.5HP models, both rated 4 stars under Energy Commission’s (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) updated classification system.
Mijia Air Conditioner Eco

For starters, the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco comes with a 108mm cross-flow fan capable of delivering up to 700m³ of air per hour, with a Turbo Mode designed to provide rapid cooling within approximately 30 seconds. For those conscious of their energy bills, its AI Energy Saving Mode can adjust cooling performance to reduce electricity usage, with the 1.0HP model recording an energy saving rate of 24.3%, while the 1.5HP variant achieves 20.9% savings.

As usual, the air conditioner displays its status on a LCD display onboard, and users can manage the device through the Xiaomi Home app with access to the usual controls, as well as self-diagnosis functions and various maintenance reminders (you can even contact technical support right within the app instead of calling a number, which is super convenient).
There’s also a quick-release filter system, along with self-cleaning function, anti-corrosion and moisture-resistant components to ensure long-term durability. To that end, Xiaomi offers a three-year standard warranty and a ten-year compressor warranty.
As mentioned earlier, the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco is offered in two variants, 1.0HP and 1.5HP, and is available through mi.com as well as Xiaomi’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada. The 1.0HP model is priced at RM1,899, while the 1.5HP model is priced at RM2,199. Promotional offers began on 24 March at 8pm while stocks last – purchases include free installation and delivery (valued at RM499).
Pokdepinion: The promo pricing is giving a very aggressive discount, I’ll say.
