Xiaomi Malaysia’s latest round of release has a lot of things, with the Xiaomi Pad 8 series taking the tablet segment to bring more value and productivity features to its users.
The current release consists of the base model Pad 8 and the Pad 8 Pro for the power users.
Both models come with an 11.2-inch 3.2K display that pushes up to 800 nits of brightness, so you get vibrant colors and details in whatever content you’re looking at. Its design is pretty neat too, at just 5.75mm thin and weighing only 485g, letting you carry it around pretty easily.
They also run the HyperOS 3 system out of the box, featuring cleaner visuals, more personalizations in terms of lock screens, wallpapers, and desktop elements. Productivity is uplifted through the enhanced split-screen options of 5:5 vertical and 1:9 horizontal, in addition to the Workstation Mode that can pin more apps to the Dock for quicker access.
Xiaomi is also bringing a PC-Level Browser experience to the tablets, complete with mouse-hover previews and right-click support, while the integrated WPS Office PC ensures compatibility with documents, slides, spreadsheets, and PDFs directly on the device.
The pen sitting on top is the new Focus Pen Pro, coming in at just 17.5g with precise pressure sensitivity and gesture control support like inch and double-tap, alongside dedicated keyboards and protective covers.
