Sheffield Wednesday manager Xisco Munoz has lost his job due to the club's poor form.
The Spanish head coach was under huge pressure going into this week, given a run of poor results.
With his side losing 1-0 to West Brom, which marked their eighth loss in ten and continued their winless streak as well.
The club said in a statement: The Owls would like to thank Xisco and his staff for their services and wish them well for the future.
The process to appoint a new manager is now underway and we will make no further comment at this time."
There is no indication of who may be in the running to take on the job after Munoz's sacking.
