Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has been impressed with Harry Maguire's impact at Manchester United.

The centre-back, 26, moved left for the Foxes for United earlier this month.

Asked about Maguire, Rodgers said: "He's been unsurprisingly very good. He's a top-class centre-half. I'm so happy for him as he was great in my time here.

"He had an opportunity to move to a great club in Manchester United and he's gone in there and you can see the real difference he's made; he's given them real stability.

"He settles everything down because he's very calm, but very imposing.

"I saw the Chelsea game and he was exceptional in that and of course the other night (against Wolves) he was very calm."
