Olivier Giroud is delighted to have stayed with Chelsea this season.
The veteran striker was linked with Borussia Dortmund.
"There is no discussion because the club had one year option and they lifted it because they were happy with what I brought to the club," Giroud told RMC Sport.
"There was even more than that, there is really some confidence.
"After that, it was not necessarily my will to leave and I never really asked myself the question of a possible departure."
