Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, has announced a strategic partnership with HP intended to connect education, technology, and entrepreneurship within the global video game industry.
The collaboration integrates HP’s Gaming Garage learning platform with the Xsolla Accelerator, creating an end-to-end ecosystem designed to help aspiring creators learn necessary skills, build projects, and launch their own studios. By combining these resources, the companies aim to introduce new models for game education and professional development on a mass scale.

The initiative creates a pipeline from the classroom to commercial launch. The programme will begin with pilot phases in Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates. Through these pilots and subsequent expansion, Xsolla and HP aim to reach over 100,000 students and young creators worldwide.

"Together with HP, we're building more than an alliance; we're creating a foundation for the next generation of developers," said Justin Berenbaum, senior vice president of Global Industry Relations and Funding at Xsolla.

"From education to incubation to investment, this union connects every stage of a developer's journey and brings new opportunities to creators in every corner of the world."

The partnership has identified four pillars to drive developer growth:

Integrated Learning Frameworks: This combines HP Gaming Garage's certificate courses—covering Game Design, Esports Management, Programming, Generative AI, and Cybersecurity—with Xsolla’s business-focused mentorship and publishing support.
Accelerator and Incubator Pathways: Emerging developers will gain direct access to Xsolla’s ecosystem, which includes funding opportunities, investor readiness training, and guidance on sustainable studio formation.
Innovation and Collaboration: The initiative will explore global innovation hubs to foster collaboration between educators, industry experts, and creators.
Access to Resources: HP’s educational modules will be delivered free of charge across Xsolla’s learning networks to remove barriers for the global developer community.

Mayank Dhingra, director and global head of education business and strategy at HP, emphasised the educational impact of the deal.

"By assimilating HP's Gaming Garage learning platform with Xsolla's Accelerator and Curine Academy programs, we will deliver a comprehensive pathway for aspiring developers and provide essential resources to prepare them to be future-ready and transform their ideas into real-world achievements," Dhingra stated.

The joint initiative aims to align educational efforts with actual industry infrastructure. By doing so, the partners hope to bridge the often-difficult gap between academic learning and commercial launch, ensuring that entrepreneurship is accessible to developers regardless of their location.

"This collaboration with HP represents a powerful step forward in building the global infrastructure that empowers game creators," added Rytis Joseph Jan, senior vice president of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships at Xsolla.

"By connecting education, technology, and investment, we're helping to nurture the next generation of talent and accelerate the creation of sustainable studios and innovative projects around the world."
