Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is relaxed about his side's poor start to the season.

The Saints have suffered back to back defeats in the league against Burnley and Liverpool.

They were also without a win in their last five matches last term. But Hasenhuttl is not pressing the panic buttons for the moment.

The Austrian said to reporters: "You cannot think that against such a team (Liverpool) you don't give chances away. That's not possible.

"They have so much quality that you can defend fantastic and even then they have chances. That's normal.

"I think for us I would be worrying more if I see us sitting deep, having no chance for a ball win or a transition offensive, no chance at all in 90 minutes. That would worry me more.

"In the moment now I must say I saw a team believing in what they are doing and even if you have no points after two games we know it's tough in the Premier League and we know about our schedule in the first weeks, but even then it's important that you believe in what you are doing.

"I could feel we never give up and we had chances to take more than only warm words."
