Reading are eyeing Everton goalkeeper Joao Virginia.
Getreading reports Virginia is nearing a loan move to Reading.
The 19-year-old impressed for Everton's Under-23s last year as they won the Premier League 2 title, and looks set to depart temporarily following the arrival of Jonas Lossl at Goodison Park.
The Portugal youth international could even feature for the Royals in their behind-closed-doors friendly against Southend United tomorrow.
Sam Walker is currently Reading's only senior shot-stopper in the books.
