Manchester United players want Paul Pogba taken off penalties, it has been revealed.

The Daily Mail says players are backing Marcus Rashford to be on penalty duty following the controversial decision to allow Pogba to take their missed spot-kick against Wolves.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad were left surprised when Pogba stepped up to take, and subsequently miss, United's penalty at Molineux because they were of the understanding Rashford was the designated striker.

Pogba and Rashford appeared to be discussing the issue of who would take the kick before the Frenchman stepped up.

Pogba's record from the spot for United has been poor - Monday's miss his fourth out of 11 in the top-flight for United meaning he now has the sixth worst conversion rate of players who have taken at least 10 penalties in the Premier League.
