Yann Sommer is delighted to be an Inter Milan player.
The former Bayern Munich goalkeeper made the move on Monday.
He told Inter TV: "There are many reasons for choosing Inter. It's a huge club, in Italy and in the world. It has history and tradition, I've always dreamed of playing for a club like this, I can't wait to play at San Siro in front of our fans. It's great to be here."
What do you expect from Serie A?
"I have a lot of expectations, I'm happy to face new rivals. It's all new for me in Serie A, but I'm really happy to be here and I can't wait to get started."
Which goalkeeper are you?
"I'm an explosive goalkeeper, I try to be courageous, to help the team and be an option for my teammates. I have to be calm and trust the team, trying to keep a clean sheet. (Simone) Inzaghi is a coach who likes to play from the back, we saw it last year and that's my style."
What does wearing this shirt mean to you?
"It means a lot to me, it makes me proud. There have been so many legendary goalkeepers before me, I can't wait to wear this shirt and defend these colors. I can't wait to play in front of the fans and feel the power of the San Siro stadium."
