Barcelona chief Eric Abidal admits they're following Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
It's been suggested this season Barca captain Lionel Messi has recommended his Argentina teammate to the board as they seek a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
Abidal told Mundo Deportivo: "He [Martinez] is a complete player.
"I think he's playing at a very good level. He is a player we are aware of and we know of his quality, but there are also other players with these same characteristics."
Martinez's contract carries a 111m buyout clause.
