Manchester City great Yaya Toure is delighted joining the Saudi Arabia staff.
Toure has been named assistant coach to Saudi Arabia head coach Roberto Mancini.
He said, "Although it was difficult to leave Standard Liege, I knew it was the right thing for me when Roberto asked me if I wanted to join him in Saudi Arabia.
"I have always looked up to Roberto - so working with him and learning from him is a perfect fit."
The two have previously worked together at Manchester City, where they won the Premier League and the FA Cup.
